Formed in 2004, by Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., Mahindra Systech is a response to the increasingly competitive Indian automotive components industry. Providing an extensive range of services, Systech intends to create the worlds most valuable and innovative auto components business by partnering with global customers to satisfy their business needs. Supplying a diverse portfolio of domestic and international firms e.g., Tata Motors in India , DaimlerChrysler and Renault in the Europe , Systech has already established itself as a significant player in the industry.
Consisting of 3 core business units, Systech offers clients an extensive range of services, from design to delivery:
- Mahindra Engineering Services (MES): A full service provider of design and engineering services. MES offers enhanced design, CAD and CAE services to the automotive, aerospace and general engineering domains.
- The Sourcing Unit: Primarily focuses on vendor management and product development for global OEMs.
- The Manufacturing Unit: Has several companies that produce forgings, gears, steel, stampings, composites and castings.

Mahindra Engineering (MES)
Mahindra Engineering Services is a leading engineering services provider. Created in 2003, MES has a highly experienced engineering and product development resource pool. Today, MES has over 1000 engineers working on projects in the automotive domain, ranging from conceptualization to deployment phases. To support its team of engineers, MES is backed by a manufacturing set-up that provides assistance in prototyping, rapid prototyping, design & model studio, die & tool manufacturing, parts supply and testing set up.
Sourcing Unit
The Sourcing Unit is an expert sourcing solution provider of automotive and tractor components. It was formed in 2004 by bringing together sourcing personnel from M&M's automotive and farm equipment sectors. Currently, it has a team of over 100 people with expertise in sourcing, negotiation and supplier quality assistance. The Sourcing Unit is also engaged in global sourcing, from countries like China , Taiwan and Thailand .
Manufacturing Unit
The Auto Components Business Unit has 6 operating arms that produce forgings, castings, gears, steel, stampings and composites. It has recently acquired forging manufacturers in the UK and Germany . The unit is currently increasing its capacity to accommodate the expected increase in demand for auto components worldwide.
