- Mahindra & Mahindra’s automotive component sector today announced that Amforge Industries Ltd. has received approval from the Hon'ble High Court, Mumbai for its Composite Scheme of Arrangement, inter alia, envisaging demerger of the Company's Chakan plant and its merger into Mahindra Automotive Steels Pvt Ltd. (MASPL) on 21st March 2005.
- Acquired 51% stake in SAR Transmission Private Limited, a company engaged in manufacture of gears and transmission shafts
- Mahindra & Mahindra entered into an agreement with Plexion Technologies, Mauritius, a group company of J. P. Morgan to acquire 88.41% stake in Plexion Technologies (India) Limited (Plexion).

- Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. through its subsidiary has agreed to acquire 67.9% stake in Jeco Holding AG
